CVR number
A CVR number is the identifier assigned to a legal unit recorded in Denmark’s Central Business Register (Det Centrale Virksomhedsregister). CVR is the authoritative register for Danish company master data, and the number is commonly used on invoices and other business documents to identify the seller or customer. A CVR number is separate from VAT treatment and e-invoice recipient capability.
